With ‘Bounty Bay Online’, players enter the historic Age of Discoveries spanning the 15th to the 17th century. They start an online career as a merchant, sailor, fisherman, pirate, explorer or in one of several other professions. Alone or with a guild of players, adventures and gripping quests on both land and the high seas are all there for the taking. Great monumental discoveries, such as the ancient pyramids of Gizeh or the Great Wall of China are waiting to be explored. ‘Bounty Bay Online’ features a unique trading system based on supply and demand. Following exciting player vs. player battles on land and sea, powerful guilds can take control of cities and entire colonies and thus control their destinies. In April 2008 Frogster has started a free-to-play server with an integrated item shop as an alternative to the subscription model, so that new sailors can now roam the seven seas without any fixed costs.
